  • How long is your hire period for?
    All bookings for hire items are subject to a hire period of 4 calendar days. For eg: Pick-ups are generally on Thursday and Fridays. Returns are on Mondays. Or, if a weekday event, as long as it is returned within the four day period.
  • I am unable to return within four days, can I extend the period of hire?
    You can request to hire longer, however this will incur a fee of ¼ of the cost of the hire fees per day. Note: We may not be able to offer extended hire periods in busy peak season or if there is another order right after yours.
  • Can you deliver hired goods?
    We can deliver your order to the event venue or stylist. We will work with the venue or stylist on the logistics to ensure timely delivery before the event. A delivery quote will be calculated and will be added to the Invoice at the time of booking, but may be revised 5-days prior to the event. A 10% process and handling fee applies to the total full-priced hired goods cost on every order. This charge is non-refundable, as it covers all the efforts undertaken to pack, count, double check, cleaning and ensures your booking with us is a great experience.
  • What is the damage waiver included on orders?
    The standard industry damage waiver fee of 5% applies to the total full-priced hired goods cost. This is to cover minor damage from wear and tear of the items, so we can keep replacing stock over time and maintaining high product standards.
  • Is the bond refundable?
    Yes, the security Bond is refundable, provided all items are returned and nothing is damaged. Replacement cost or repair cost is taken from the bond amount should something be mishandled. The Bond is paid with the final balance before delivery. The bond will be returned (14 days after your event) if there is no permanent damage or items lost upon return to us.
  • Can we adjust the number of items after we have paid the deposit?
    Yes, you can. You can adjust the numbers up until 2 weeks prior to your event date, with an adjustment of only up to 15% of the total bill. Final payment will then be determined 2 weeks before the event and final balance to be paid.
  • Where do we pick up and collect hired goods from?
    From our studio in Dromana. The address will be shared once the deposit is paid.
  • Do I need to clean the cutlery?
    Cutlery should be returned rinsed clean and in good condition (not broken, not bent, no visible damage). Extra cleaning fees will apply if the cutlery is not returned rinsed.
  • Do I need to wash the linen we hire? (Napkins/tablecloths/runners etc)
    No they do not need to be washed. Please use the laundry bag provided, we will launder them upon return.
  • Do the plates/glassware/chargers need to be washed?
    Please rinse to remove soiling. We will wash and sterilize upon return ready for the next hire.
